In your role as the Senior Leader of Finance, you will be instrumental in shaping the financial strategy of the company, with a primary emphasis on fundraising, debt raising, regulatory compliance, and financial management within the e-commerce sector. This position calls for a strategic thinker with a profound comprehension of financial markets, regulatory frameworks, and the distinctive financial dynamics of the e-commerce industry. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies to support the company's growth objectives. You will be tasked with identifying and engaging potential investors, venture capitalists, and financial institutions, leading negotiations, and managing relationships to secure equity financing. Additionally, you will prepare and present detailed financial reports and business plans to prospective investors. On the debt raising front, you will formulate and implement strategies to raise debt capital to meet the company's financial requirements. Building and nurturing relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other lenders, negotiating favorable terms and conditions of debt agreements, and overseeing existing debt obligations to ensure compliance with covenants will be part of your mandate. Ensuring full compliance with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regulations and other pertinent financial regulations will fall under your purview. Staying abreast of regulatory changes, liaising with regulatory bodies and auditors, and developing and enforcing internal policies and procedures to ensure regulatory adherence will be crucial aspects of your role. You will also be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of financial strategies to support the company's long-term goals. Managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes, providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team, and mentoring the finance team to ensure high performance and continuous development will be key responsibilities. Utilizing your in-depth understanding of the e-commerce industry, you will drive financial strategies that align with industry trends and dynamics. Analyzing market conditions, the competitive landscape, and emerging trends to inform financial decision-making, and collaborating with other senior leaders to drive growth and profitability in the e-commerce sector will be essential. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA, CFA, or advanced degree is preferred, along with 7 to 13 years of progressive experience in finance, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership position. Demonstrated expertise in fundraising, debt raising, managing investor relations, knowledge of RBI regulations, and financial management within the e-commerce industry is required. Strong strategic planning, analytical, and negotiation skills, coupled with exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, are also essential.
