Key Responsibilities: Monitor backup jobs and alerts in Cohesity , NetBackup , and Data Domain environments. Acknowledge and respond to alerts and failures. Perform basic troubleshooting steps. Check for failed/partial/completed backup jobs and escalate as needed. Log incidents/tickets in ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy). Assist with basic restore requests (under guidance from L2/L3 teams). Escalate hardware alerts/failures related to Data Domain systems. Follow daily health check procedures and document status reports. Support change and incident management processes. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and provide timely updates. Technical Skills Required: Basic working knowledge of Cohesity DataProtect (monitoring, alerting, restore initiation). Familiarity with Veritas NetBackup (viewing policies, job monitoring, error handling). Basic understanding of EMC Data Domain (DDOS GUI navigation, checking disk usage, error alerts).
