As a Control and Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions for a variety of industrial and building automation applications. Your expertise in PLC programming, SCADA systems, industrial robotics, control panel design, and building automation systems (BAS) will be crucial for the successful execution of automation initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include leading the design and execution of automation and control systems, developing and programming PLC, SCADA, HMI, and DCS solutions, overseeing the integration of robotic systems, vision systems, and BAS, as well as selecting and designing electrical, electronic, and mechanical components for automation systems. You will also be involved in supervising panel building, ensuring compliance with electrical standards, and managing Building Automation Systems (BAS) for HVAC controls, energy management, and smart building solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting technical issues, managing multiple projects within budget constraints, conducting risk assessments, and providing training and technical support to operations and maintenance teams are also key aspects of this role. Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends will be essential for driving innovation in industrial and building automation.
