Role & responsibilities Manage the operations of boiler from DCS control panels. Monitor control panel data and alarms, taking corrective actions as needed to maintain safe and efficient operations. Startup / Shutdown as per operating procedures. Instruct and interact clearly with field operators for making necessary changes in the field and co-ordinate with shift engineer, and for proper line up and related safety aspects. Record boiler parameters and other necessary data. Provide back up to turbine field officer on Turbine DCS when turbine field officer is on field round. Preferred candidate profile Knowledge of boiler DCS operation. Knowledge of CFBC Boiler. Knowledge of boiler parameters, interlocks, water chemistry, etc. Knowledge of equipment startup/ shutdown, maintenance and troubleshooting. Knowledge of turbine interlocks.
