We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Urban Planner to join our PMC design and engineering team. The ideal candidate will have up to 3 years of relevant experience in urban planning, master planning, or related fields. This role involves working closely with senior planners, architects, engineers, and clients to support planning studies, development proposals, regulatory analysis, and site assessments across a range of projects. Responsibilities The following are key responsibilities but not limited to: Assist senior planners and architects in review of planning proposals, master plans, urban planning concepts, and feasibility reports. Support preparation of reports, presentations, and graphic documentation for regulatory submissions and client presentations. Conduct site assessments, data analysis, and research on zoning regulations, building codes, and statutory compliance. Participate in stakeholder meetings, design charrettes, and client discussions to support planning inputs. Assist in the preparation and coordination of statutory approval documentation. Stay updated with local regulations, urban development policies, and emerging trends in urban planning and design. Provide support for project coordination, documentation, and administrative tasks as needed.

You have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Junior Architect Feasibility Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the viability of upcoming projects from architectural and planning perspectives. Your primary focus will be to evaluate site conditions, regulatory constraints, and design possibilities to provide accurate feasibility reports and proposals for real estate developments. Your key responsibilities will include conducting site feasibility studies and preparing area statements considering factors such as Floor Space Index (FSI), permissible building envelope, setbacks, zoning regulations, and other local building codes. You will collaborate with various teams including land acquisition, legal, and project planning to determine development potential. Evaluating cost implications, design constraints, and usage optimization from an architectural viewpoint will also be part of your role. It will be essential for you to coordinate with external consultants such as surveyors, local architects, and town planners to gather project-specific data. Keeping yourself updated on Development Control Regulations (DCR), Urban Design and Architecture Design Guidelines (UDCPR), and other local statutory changes impacting design feasibility will be crucial. The ideal candidate for this role will possess an in-depth understanding of architectural design principles, building bye-laws, and DCPR. Strong analytical and spatial planning abilities are essential, along with excellent communication and presentation skills. Attention to detail and robust documentation abilities are also key requirements for this position. You should be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams including land, legal, and finance departments. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Diploma degree in Architecture and have at least 1 year of experience in feasibility studies. Experience in residential projects would be preferred. Prepare CAD drawings, 3D models, and renderings. Develop layouts and floor plans based on project requirements. Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, and consultants to ensure seamless project execution. Coordinate with engineering teams (structural, MEP) to align architectural designs with technical requirements. Regulatory Compliance: Assist in preparing documentation for government approvals and permits. Ensure designs comply with building codes and regulations. Excellent communication and teamwork & management skills. Attention to detail with a creative and innovative mindset. 10-15 years' experience. Preferred: Knowledge of local building codes and regulations (DCPR). Experience with real estate or large-scale residential/commercial projects.
