As a Business Development Manager for Data Center Solutions, your role will involve accelerating growth for the Data Center Solutions portfolio in the West and North regions. You will be responsible for driving the adoption of UPS, Cooling, Racks, rPDUs, Switchgear, Busway, DCIM, MDC, and integrated infrastructure solutions across hyperscale, colocation, Govt State Data Center, and enterprise data centers. Your key responsibilities will include: - Recommending the right Data Center solutions based on customer and consultant requirements. - Building strong, long-term relationships with consultants, PMC, EPCs, end-users, SKID manufacturers, and colocation developers. - Leading consultant mapping and product approvals to secure inclusion in vendor lists and project specifications. - Identifying large-scale data center projects early and influencing specifications to advocate for company solutions. - Managing a robust opportunity pipeline and collaborating with sales leaders to track project conversions. - Supporting Sales teams with bid submissions, technical submittals, bid/solution optimization, and consultant discussions. - Collaborating with other Business Development and Sales teams to position One Eaton Integrated Data Center Solution. - Conducting consultant trainings & workshops to drive preference for company technologies. - Maintaining a blend of technical and commercial acumen to establish credibility with consultants and decision-makers. - Coordinating with internal cross-functional teams for post-sales support and customer satisfaction. - Representing Eaton in DC forums/pitch presentations in industry platforms. - Being willing to undertake up to 50% travel across extended geographies for consultant engagement and project development. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. - 8-12 years of experience in business development, solution sales, or technical sales in the Data Center or Critical Infrastructure industry. Skills: - Proven record of selling to colocation, hyperscale, or enterprise data center clients. - Exposure to consultant engagement and project specification influencing. Additional Details: You should have a deep understanding of the critical power chain, strong knowledge of data center architecture and redundancy models, familiarity with cooling technologies, awareness of DCIM platforms, and working knowledge of industry standards. Your success in this role will depend on your stakeholder management skills, ability to engage C-level executives and consultants, excellent communication and negotiation skills, strategic thinking abilities, and passion for the data center industry.,
