As an Electrical Engineer with 10-12 years of experience, you will be responsible for detailed design and engineering, as well as providing site assistance for industrial projects, particularly in Solar Process plants. You should have previous experience working in the EPC environment and possess skills in design optimization for both Greenfield and Brownfield projects. Your responsibilities will include preparing Estimated BOQ for Electrical Items, being conversant with International codes and standards such as IEC and IEEE, and having knowledge of HV (66 KV / 11 KV) systems, including GIS Application. You should be proficient in interpreting PID and Automation Configuration Diagrams, as well as preparing IO Lists. Additionally, you will be reviewing and preparing specifications, data sheets, and calculation notes, along with cable schedules. You will also be involved in the design basis, sizing, and selection of electrical equipment, including Transformer sizing, DG sizing, DC sizing, UPS sizing, cable sizing, and Earthing Calculations. Your role will also require you to review and prepare single-line diagrams for HV and LV systems, conduct load analysis, prepare cable schedules, Equipment layout, and wiring diagrams. You will be involved in calculations, such as Short Circuit Motor starting studies, Protection Relay Coordination using ETAP, and Control Schematics preparation. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the technical bid evaluation and Vendor drawing review for electrical equipment, including transformers, HV and LV switchgear, AC/DC UPS, HV/LV motors, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), SCADA, and Emergency Diesel Generator. Proficiency in Autocad for the preparation of electrical layout drawings for Earthing, Cable and cable tray routing, and coordinated Lighting layouts is expected. Your role will also involve providing electrical support for mechanical packages and Utility Packages, such as HVAC, CHILLER, PEX, SMEX, CAS, DWS / RWS, EOT CRANE, FDAS. You will also engage in supplier interaction, vendor coordination, coordination with Project management, Procurement, inter-discipline coordination, and coordination with the project site execution team.
