Key Skills Required 1. The DC Operations team has responsibility for 24X7 operations 2. This Candidate will work with various stakeholders COLO service Provider, Vendors and Technology Infrastructure Group teams (within DC/DR) to support Data Centre operations 1. Must work well in team environment with high individual productivity with a can-do attitude. 2. Flexibility to work with teams that operate in 24 X 7 shifts 3. Data Centre Passive infrastructure, knowledge on Cooling / Containment, Electrical power, Air purification, firefighting safety etc. 4. Proven concept understanding and experience of Data Centre Structured Cabling and labelling standards 5. Knowledge in Rack Mounting of Servers, Storage, Network equipment and other hardware 6. Manage partners/outsourcing vendors efficiently so that the outsourced resources are of high quality and well utilized. 7. Introduce new processes/systems and/or redefine existing processes to align with changing business/technology needs. 3. Ability to set processes to manage high transactional oriented environment for seamless operations. 4. Experience of working in a highly robust & dynamic technology environment 5. Comfortable leading in a fast-paced team environment and possess very good communications skills. 6. Vendor management and negotiation skills 7. Rack mounting, Commissioning / Decommission of IT hardware 8. Datacentre structured cabling and troubleshooting 9. Manage day to day operations using the DCIM tools & Preventive checks, Temp, Cooling, Safety / Security & maintain Hygiene 10. Coordinate with COLO service provider to manage Electrical / UPS PDUs, HVAC and other Data Centre performance parameters are monitored and tracked 11. Plan and co-ordinate Maintenance / other support activities (UPS / electrical / HVAC etc.) 12. Compile, maintain and share performance reports and metrics with various stakeholders, on regular interval 13. Certifications ITIL, CDCP, other IT infra professional certifications 14. Proven understanding of Data Centre Best practices and TIA-942 /Uptime and other standards 15. Awareness and working knowledge of DCIM tools 16.
