About Mistral: From the initial architecture stage all the way to manufacturing support, Mistral provides hardware design services for embedded product development which include PCB layout, board design, programmable logic and enclosure designs integrating FPGAs, DSPs, microprocessors, and complex RF, analog, and power systems to realize the complete embedded electronic design for a given application. Job Title: Senior Engineer/Module lead-Embedded Hardware Experience: 4 to 8 Years Location: Bangalore Qualification: B.E or B.Tech in Electronics or related domain Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute complete electronic board design and testing activities. Design schematics and review digital electronics interfaces such as I2C, SPI, eMMC, PCIe, LVDS, LVTTL, CMOS, and LVPECL. Develop systems using FPGA, microcontrollers, or microprocessors. Perform power estimation, power tree design, reset logic and sequencing. Select electronic components and perform placement, netlist, and schematic reviews. Conduct timing analysis and ensure signal/power integrity (basic SI & PI/PDN). Generate design documentation and apply PCB routing guidelines. Design and validate low voltage DC-DC power supplies (>5A), LDOs, and perform heat sink and power dissipation calculations. Implement and test analog circuits such as Op-amp configurations, temperature and voltage monitoring, current sensing, ADC/DAC interfaces. Perform EMI/EMC design and validation. Lead board bring-up and testing using instruments such as DSO/MSO, CRO, multimeter, JTAG, etc. Validate power supplies, clock signals, reset and power sequencing. Mandatory Skills: Schematic and digital circuit design Power supply design and validation Analog circuit design (Op-amps, sensors, ADC/DAC) Board bring-up and hardware debugging EMI/EMC design/testing Experience with lab instruments: DSO/MSO, JTAG, I2C, SPI, multimeter, etc. Design documentation and PCB layout guidelines Basic SI and PI/PDN knowledge Desired Skills: RF design, simulation, and testing Clock distribution, timing, and jitter measurement DDR4/DDR5 memory interface design Power electronics (MOSFET, IGBT, TRIAC, DIAC) Aerospace and defense domain experience (DO160, MIL-STD-810F) Audio/Video interface designs Signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) simulations Advanced power stage design and validation
