As a Cisco ACI Admin, your main responsibility is to offer your significant technical expertise in the architecture planning and design of the relevant tower, such as platform, database, middleware, backup, and to oversee its day-to-day operations. You are expected to have hands-on experience and troubleshooting skills in Cisco Data Center products like Nexus 9000, Nexus 3000, Nexus 7000/5000, and Cisco ACI. Proficiency in Routing/Switching protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MST, PVST, L2 switching is mandatory. A broad technical knowledge of R&S, Data center components, and virtualization concepts will be advantageous for architecture discussions. Moreover, familiarity with VXLAN, ACI, Legacy to ACI Migration, and various DC architectures is essential. Knowledge of L4-L7 load balancing, firewalls, IP/MPLS, and Cisco routing/switching is preferred. Strong communication skills are vital to convey technology strategy and architecture approaches effectively to various stakeholders. Certification in CCIE is preferred, and CCNP is a must. Understanding of Cisco SD-WAN fundamentals will be an added advantage. In terms of team management, you will be responsible for resourcing, talent management, performance management, and ensuring employee satisfaction and engagement. Setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and promoting diversity in leadership positions are key aspects of this role. Your performance will be measured based on SLA adherence, knowledge management, CSAT, timely project delivery, and avoidance of unauthorized changes.
