You should have over 10 years of hands-on experience supporting Network and network architecture design. Your expertise should include a solid understanding of Cisco Data Center products such as Nexus 9000, Nexus 2000, and Nexus 5000. A deep knowledge of communication protocols like TCP/IP and routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and Redundancy protocols like HSRP and VRRP is essential. You should also be proficient in Cisco routing/switching technologies such as Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, XR, and NX-OS. Experience in troubleshooting and working hands-on with Nexus Network is required. Familiarity with various DC Architectures like DC-DR, Active-Active DC is preferred. Knowledge of SD-WAN, especially Silver Peak product experience, will be considered an advantage. You must possess excellent knowledge of LAN/WAN services principles including Switching, Routing, Network security, IPsec, VPN, DMVPN, DHCP, LOGGING, SNMP, RADIUS, and VLAN (802.1q). The role may require flexibility to work in a 24/7 support environment. A strong understanding of managing both perimeter and internal Networks is necessary. Effective communication skills are key for this role, both written and verbal, along with strong listening abilities.
