Job Title: DB2 LUW Administrator (L3 Support) with SAP Expertise Location : Chennai / PAN India Shift Timing : 24 / 7 Rotational Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced DB2 LUW Administrator (L3 Support) with a strong background in SAP environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and troubleshooting DB2 databases, ensuring high availability and performance, and supporting SAP applications. Key Responsibilities: Administer and maintain IBM DB2 LUW databases in SAP environments. Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for database-related issues. Optimize database performance, including SQL tuning and query optimization. Manage database backups, restores, and disaster recovery processes. Collaborate with SAP Basis teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of SAP applications. Monitor database health, capacity planning, and space management. Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures. Automate routine database tasks using tools like Ansible, Jenkins, or PowerShell. Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical database systems. Required Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in DB2 LUW database administration. Hands-on experience with SAP environments, including SAP Basis and DBA Cockpit. Proficiency in database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies. Experience with clone and snap restores. Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX operating systems. Expertise in SQL tuning and performance optimization. Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, PowerShell). Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: IBM DB2 Database Administrator Certification. Experience with SAP HANA. HADR implementation and configuration.

In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with DB2 LUW (Linux, UNIX, Windows). Expertise in database performance tuning, query optimization, and problem-solving. Strong experience with backup and recovery strategies and tools. Familiarity with DB2 High Availability (HADR) and DB2 clustering. Excellent understanding of SQL and stored procedures. Knowledge of DB2 security, user roles, and access control. Work Mode: Hybrid Shift Timing: UK Shift 1.00 PM to 10 PM ( 2 Way cab Facility)
