Responsibilities: Participate in projects for deploying mySAP/Netweaver applications in a Windows Z/OS Db2 environment. Install, use and maintain Db2 software and supporting Db2 utilities. Build and maintain Db2 subsystems. Provide DB2 and SAP basis support as needed to meet service level agreements for our development and production instances of Db2. Diagnose and tune performance issues. Participate in design, setup and testing of back-up, recovery and DR solutions. Participate in root cause analysis of recurring problems. Create documentation for problem resolutions to be used by other support group members. Participate in weekly status reporting for issue identification and escalation.
