DB Architect

Role Overview: As a Database Architect at our company, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure database systems tailored to meet our business requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and create efficient database solutions. Monitoring performance, enforcing standards, and ensuring data integrity will be key aspects of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement database systems tailored to business requirements. - Develop and optimize database structures for performance and scalability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create efficient database solutions. - Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement tuning techniques. - Define and enforce database standards, policies, and procedures. - Perform data migration and integration across platforms. - Work on backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies. - Research and implement new database technologies to optimize processes. - Review database design for compliance with best practices and regulations. - Conduct audits of database systems and recommend improvements. - Create and maintain documentation for database architecture. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a Database Architect or similar role. - Strong knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, relational databases, and distributed databases. - Proficiency in database design, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. - Experience with cloud database solutions and containerized databases. - Expertise in data modeling, schema design, and RDBMS. - Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration tools. - Strong knowledge of database security and backup/recovery strategies. - Experience with high-availability architectures and scaling database systems. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Note: Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, experience with big data technologies, familiarity with database automation tools and CI/CD practices, and knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.,
