Daycare Teacher

Job Purpose:

To provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating day care environment for young children, supporting their holistic development—social, emotional, physical, and cognitive—while ensuring smooth operations aligned with the ethos of GG International School.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Child Care & Supervision

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under care at all times.
• Manage daily routines including arrival, meals, nap times, and dispersal.
• Handle minor injuries and basic first aid procedures.

2. Learning & Engagement

• Conduct age-appropriate activities including storytelling, rhymes, art & craft, music, and outdoor play.
• Encourage positive social interaction, basic life skills, and good hygiene habits.
• Maintain and track each child’s behavioral and developmental milestones.

3. Parent Communication

• Provide daily updates to parents regarding their child’s routine, progress, and well-being.
• Address concerns empathetically and professionally.

4. Hygiene & Environment

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in classrooms, restrooms, and play areas.
• Ensure toys, furniture, and play equipment are safe and sanitized regularly.

5. Reporting & Teamwork

• Maintain attendance registers, progress notes, and incident reports as required.
• Work collaboratively with the Day Care Coordinator, teachers, and support staff for smooth functioning.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education / Montessori / Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) preferred.
• Experience: 1–2 years of experience in preschool/day care settings preferred.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Patience, empathy, and a natural love for children.
• Basic knowledge of child psychology and development.
• Good organizational and classroom management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
