Manage database provisioning, replication, sharding, backup/restore, monitoring, and upgrades. Ensure data security, compliance, and governance in multi-environment (on-prem & cloud) setups. Performance & Optimization Drive query tuning, indexing strategies, and workload balancing across heterogeneous databases. Implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies. Conduct capacity planning and forecasting for large-scale data environments. Advanced Data Platforms Implement and integrate Vector Databases to support AI/ML-driven search and generative AI applications. Deploy and manage Graph Databases (e.g., Neo4j, ArangoDB, JanusGraph) for relationship-driven data use cases. Integrate structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data pipelines into data lakes (e.g., Delta Lake, Lakehouse models) . Collaboration & Leadership Partner with data scientists, application developers, and cloud engineers to deliver end-to-end data solutions. Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior DBAs, and defining database best practices. Support enterprise initiatives in data modernization, AI adoption, and cloud transformation . Required Skills & Experience 12-15 years of proven experience as a Database Administrator and Architect in large-scale environments. Strong expertise in MongoDB architecture & administration (replication, sharding, Atlas). Deep experience with SQL databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL). Strong knowledge of data lake and lakehouse architectures (Delta Lake, Snowflake, or BigQuery). Hands-on experience with Vector Databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, FAISS, or equivalent). Experience with Graph Databases (Neo4j, TigerGraph, Amazon Neptune, or equivalent). Strong understanding of data modeling, indexing, caching, and query optimization .
