As a member of the team, your main responsibilities will include supporting the Sourcing Process. This involves tasks such as inputting data for RFQs into Jaggaer, sending out and tracking RFQs, clarifying missing data with suppliers, and preparing initial bidding overviews in alignment with timeline and global sourcing policies. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and placing pilot orders in compliance with internal order processes. You will also handle orders for direct material, Tool orders, PPAP orders, and Pre-serial parts orders, ensuring tracking, follow-up of milestones, and addressing any issues with suppliers and internal functions. Part of your role will involve reviewing open orders and communicating or escalating any external and internal discrepancies to the supplier and relevant buyer. It will also be essential to follow up with suppliers on order acknowledgements to ensure timely order execution. A good understanding of Mechanical/Automotive Engineering drawings will be beneficial for this position. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2-4 years of experience in sourcing, with experience in the automotive industry being an added advantage. You should be a highly motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to multitask, and a proven track record in managing projects. Being able to work in a matrix environment with a multicultural team is also important.
