INFOC is seeking a motivated and curious Associate Data & AI Engineer to assist in the development of AI-enabled analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Data Services. In this role, you will work closely with senior architects and consultants on real-world transformation projects, enabling customers to derive actionable insights through modern data platforms. This position is ideal for early-career professionals who are enthusiastic about working with cutting-edge Microsoft technologies, honing their skills, and driving tangible business outcomes. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting the development of data pipelines, dataflows, and transformations utilizing Microsoft Fabric and Azure tools. You will also play a key role in constructing Power BI dashboards and semantic models tailored to meet customer reporting requirements. Collaboration with solution architects will be essential as you prepare, cleanse, and model data sourced from a variety of systems including ERP, CRM, and external sources. Additionally, you will engage in Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) involving AI integrations such as Azure OpenAI and Azure ML Studio, conduct data validation, testing, and performance tuning, and document technical processes, solution architecture, and deployment steps. The ideal candidate will possess at least 2-5 years of experience in data analytics, engineering, or AI solution development. Hands-on proficiency with Power BI (datasets, visuals, DAX) and basic Azure Data tools (Data Factory, Data Lake) is required. Exposure to, or a willingness to learn, Microsoft Fabric, Lakehouses, and AI workloads is highly valued. A strong grasp of SQL, data modeling, and visualization principles is essential, and familiarity with Python or Power Query (M) is advantageous. Strong analytical and communication skills, along with a problem-solving mindset, are crucial. Possessing a Microsoft certification (PL-300, DP-203, or similar) would be a bonus.
