You will be joining WhiteCrow, a global talent research, insight, and pipelining specialist with a strong presence across various countries including the UK, USA, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Dubai, and India. With a profound international reach, WhiteCrow excels in understanding and navigating specialized markets on a global scale. Their services not only cater to external clients but also complement in-house research initiatives. Your role as a Logistics Assistant will involve various key responsibilities, including proactive disruption management. This entails actively monitoring ocean shipments to identify and address potential disruptions before they escalate. You will be utilizing a range of tools to promptly communicate delays or disruptions to relevant stakeholders, collaborating with marine carriers, drayage providers, freight forwarders, ports, and customers to resolve any issues efficiently. Effective communication will be a crucial aspect of your role. You will act as the primary point of contact for in-transit shipments, liaising with marine carriers, Customer Service Representatives (CSR), and Demand Resource Planners (DRP) to communicate issues and implement corrective measures. Ensuring timely updates on shipment delays and disruptions are communicated effectively to all stakeholders will be a key part of your responsibilities. Your work will also involve data-driven action, where you will regularly analyze shipment data to identify trends and potential disruption risks. This analysis will help you develop proactive strategies to prevent delays. Utilizing tools such as SAP, PowerBI, Excel, and Visibility Vendors, you will extract and compare shipment data to facilitate real-time decision-making. Continuous improvement will be encouraged in your role. You are expected to proactively suggest process improvements related to data accuracy, carrier compliance, and system enhancements to minimize disruptions. Additionally, you will be responsible for reporting and analysis, extracting, summarizing, and reporting findings on marine shipment data as required. Tracking and tracing business-specific requests to ensure alignment with improving shipment outcomes will also be part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you are required to possess a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Science, Supply Chain, or Operations. Furthermore, you should have 1-2 years of experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Operations. Proficiency with tools such as SAP, Real-Time Visibility Vendor, PowerBI, Excel, Salesforce, etc., will be advantageous in executing your responsibilities effectively.,
