Job Title: L1 IT Support Engineer On field Location: Bangalore Department: IT Support Reports to: IT Manager / Team Lead Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused L1 Support Engineer to provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, networks, and basic IT infrastructure. The role involves troubleshooting, configuration, and installation tasks to ensure smooth IT operations across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Desktop & Laptop Support Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, operating systems, and basic applications. Provide end-user support for hardware/software issues. Networking Support Perform basic network troubleshooting (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi). Assist in configuring access points and resolving connectivity issues. Shared Resource Management Configure and manage shared folders with appropriate access rights. Surveillance & Security Systems Perform basic CCTV installation, setup, and troubleshooting. Assist with biometric attendance system installation and configuration. Customer Service & Ticketing Act as the first point of contact for IT-related queries. Log, track, and resolve incidents within agreed SLA. Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 1–2 years of experience in IT/Desktop/Network support (Fresher with knowledge can also apply). Basic knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and hardware troubleshooting. Familiarity with network concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, switches). Hands-on knowledge of CCTV and biometric system setup is an added advantage. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work under minimal supervision and provide quick resolutions.
