As an Application Support Senior Analyst at Citi, you will be responsible for providing technical and business support for users of Citi Applications. Your role will involve resolving application issues efficiently, driving improvements in stability, efficiency, and effectiveness to contribute to the success of the business. You will play a key role in maintaining application systems in daily operations, managing and supporting applications, performing risk reconciliations, developing technical support documentation, and maximizing the potential of applications used. Key Responsibilities: - Provide quick resolutions to application issues and drive stability, efficiency, and effectiveness improvements. - Maintain application systems in daily operations of the firm. - Manage, maintain, and support applications and their operating environments with a focus on stability, quality, and functionality. - Perform start of day checks, continuous monitoring, and regional handover. - Develop and maintain technical support documentation. - Identify ways to maximize the potential of applications used. - Assess risk and impact of production issues and escalate them in a timely manner. - Ensure storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly. - Formulate and define scope and objectives for complex application enhancements and problem resolution. - Engage in post-implementation analysis to ensure successful system design and functionality. Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of experience in an Application Support role. - Experience in installing, configuring, or supporting business applications. - Proficiency in some programming languages with a willingness/ability to learn. - Strong analytical skills and issue tracking/reporting using tools. - Good technical skills and the ability to share information effectively with support team members and other technology teams. - Ability to plan and organize workload effectively. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain technical issues in simple terms. - Experience with CI/CD, configuration management, databases (e.g., Oracle, MongoDB), and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go). - Familiarity with Observability and Alerting at scale, Generative AI with LLM, digital assets, and blockchain technology.
