Job Description : We are seeking a skilled Database Specialist to manage, optimize, and support our database systems. You will be responsible for ensuring database integrity, security, performance tuning, and data accessibility across the organization. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and a strong understanding of data management best practices. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain database systems (RDBMS or NoSQL). Monitor database performance and perform tuning as necessary. Implement data backup, recovery, and security strategies. Collaborate with developers and analysts to optimize queries and ensure data quality. Develop and maintain ETL processes and stored procedures. Perform regular audits and resolve database-related issues and outages. Document database structures, processes, and configurations. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Proven experience with databases like Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server , or MongoDB . Strong command of SQL , PL/SQL , or T-SQL . Knowledge of database architecture, normalization , and indexing . Experience with database security , data migration , and replication . Familiarity with cloud database platforms like AWS RDS , Azure SQL , or Google Cloud SQL is a plus. Experience in performance tuning and query optimization .
