You should have a good knowledge of relational and non-relational database design & implementation. It is essential to be well-versed in scripting Stored procedures, Functions, Tables, Views, Cursors, Constraints, Triggers & Indexes. Collaboration with Back-end and Front-end developers is a key part of the role. You will be responsible for thoroughly understanding and communicating technical implementation requirements & statuses to appropriate team members within the given timeframe. Analyzing, designing, coordinating development & testing of various technical solutions along with core team members in the U.S and India will be part of your responsibilities. Participation in Technical Documentation, Knowledge Transfer & Training sessions, reviewing legacy DB usages for improvements, and providing solutions to any DB-related problems are expected. Managing multiple database installations, backups, and replications using tools and scripts, optimizing database storage, queries, and methods, and utilizing various tools or writing scripts to derive required data and statistical information from databases are essential tasks. Familiarity with various diagrams like flow charts and UML diagrams is also required. Qualifications: - Proven experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL or MySQL. - Strong experience with Data Analysis, Data Retrieval from DB, and Query Optimization. - Proficiency in writing and troubleshooting Database scripts and queries. - Proven experience and expertise in Database administration tasks like installation, configurations, setup replication, complete designing, etc. - Experience in version control using GitHub. - Knowledge of ETL tools like Apache Airflow will be an advantage. Key Skills: - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional, geographically distributed team.
