As a Teradata Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing efficient data solutions using Teradata. You will utilize Teradata Utilities such as BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, and TPT for high-volume data loading and extraction. Your role will also involve writing complex and optimized SQL queries for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting, as well as applying advanced performance optimization techniques to ensure efficient data processing and query execution. In this position, you will leverage your strong understanding of Teradata architecture to design scalable and robust data solutions. You will apply deep knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas). Leading ETL development efforts to transform raw data into structured formats and conducting performance tuning for ETL processes and database queries will be key aspects of your role. Your problem-solving skills will be crucial in identifying and resolving complex data-related issues, while also ensuring database security and system availability practices are maintained to uphold data integrity and continuous operation.
