Job Description

Design and implement efficient, scalable, and secure
PostgreSQL
database schemas and objects (tables, views, functions, procedures).

Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers for regulatory data processing.

Collaborate with backend developers, data engineers, and business analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into robust database solutions. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and quality across systems.

Implement indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning strategies for large datasets. Support ETL processes and data pipelines for ingestion and transformation of trade data.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

Maintain documentation for database structures, processes, and best practices.

Overall experience of 8-10 Year with 4+ years of hands-on experience with
PostgreSQL
development and administration.

Strong proficiency in
SQL
,
PL/pgSQL
, and performance tuning.

Experience with
data modeling
,
normalization
, and
query optimization
.

Experience working with
large datasets
and
real-time data processing
.

Knowledge of
ETL tools

data warehousing

data lakes
is desirable.
