As an Oracle Database Administrator (L2) in Gurugram, your responsibilities will include installing and upgrading the Oracle server and application tools, allocating system storage, and planning future storage requirements for the database system. You will be tasked with creating primary database storage structures (tablespaces) and ensuring optimal performance through various tools such as RMAN, Data Guard, RAC, Data Pump, ASM, Networking, Oracle 11G, and Performance Tuning. Additionally, you will be involved in SQL Database Grid CRS management, Firewall implementation, Change/Release Management, and maintenance of databases using Oracle Enterprise Management Grid Control. Your role will also encompass handling complex database migrations, collaborating with offshore partners, and demonstrating proficiency in working with various cultures. A solid understanding of the ITIL framework will be essential in managing database access rights, authorizations, and database structure creation at the schema level. Active reporting through data collection and report building will be part of your routine tasks. Moreover, you will be responsible for installing Database Server Security based on Service Level agreements and promptly responding to database security alerts. This is a full-time position that requires your physical presence at the work location. Your qualifications should include a B.E/B.Tech/BCA degree.
