We are looking for a Lead Database Developer-Oracle to join our technology team at Clarivate. As the Lead Database Developer, you will oversee the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance databases utilizing Oracle and PostgreSQL. You should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 8 years of experience in Oracle database environments and PostgreSQL is required, along with expertise in database performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning. Additionally, you should have at least 4 years of experience in cloud-based database services like AWS RDS. A solid understanding of data security, backup, and recovery procedures is necessary, along with knowledge of relational database concepts such as primary/foreign keys, many-to-many relationships, and complex join operations. Experience in system analysis, design, problem-solving, support, and troubleshooting is also expected. Familiarity with cloud database platforms such as AWS RDS and Azure Cloud would be advantageous. It would be beneficial if you have an in-depth understanding of database architecture and data modeling principles, as well as good knowledge of No-SQL database solutions, AWS, and Azure Db solutions and services. In this role, you will collaborate with the development team to design and implement efficient database structures that meet the organization's requirements.
