About The Role

We are seeking a Database Developer Lead (DB2 UDB) to join our team at NCG. In this role, you will lead database development initiatives, focusing on DB2 UDB optimization, data migration, and performance tuning. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and drive process improvements to ensure robust, scalable, and efficient database Responsibilities :

• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for DB2 UDB databases.
• Design and implement data migration strategies from DB2 z/OS to DB2 UDB.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and functional designs.
• Lead database development projects from planning to deployment, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation within database Skills & Qualifications :
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 69 years of experience in database development, with a strong focus on DB2 UDB.
• Proven expertise in writing and optimizing complex queries, stored procedures, and data retrieval scripts.
• Experience in data migration from DB2 z/OS to DB2 UDB.
• Experience in the financial services or banking industry is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with experience leading database projects.
