Database Developer

As a Database Developer at Inventrax, you will be an integral part of our passionate team of professionals who leverage software and technology to achieve higher benchmarks in traceability solutions for manufacturing, distribution, and logistics industries using best SCM practices. You will work on a robust suite of hybrid applications with advanced data capture capabilities to enhance traceability in manufacturing & distribution processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Strong understanding of how the SQL Server database engine works, including physical storage, indexing, physical database design best practices, and the Query Optimizer. - Create normalized database schemas utilizing data modeling discipline. - Understanding of normalization, de-normalization, and the difference between the two. - Develop schemas for both OLTP and OLAP databases. - Write complex Procedures, Functions, Views, and Triggers. - Write efficient T-SQL code and assist developers in code optimization. - Manage data access and resolve database performance issues. - Familiarity with various SQL Server features such as SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, XML, JSON, Service Broker, Full-Text, etc., and their applications. - Excellent troubleshooting skills with MSSQL Server and strong communication abilities. - Prepare technical documentation as required. **Qualifications Required:** - 3-6 years of experience as a Database Developer. - Proficiency in SQL Server database development. - Strong knowledge of data modeling and database design best practices. - Experience in writing complex T-SQL queries, Procedures, Functions, Views, and Triggers. - Familiarity with SQL Server features such as SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, XML, JSON, Service Broker, Full-Text, etc. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
