Job Description

Role & responsibilities Job Description: Job Title: PostgreSQL Database Developer Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL databases. Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity. Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers. Collaborate with software developers to integrate database solutions. Perform database tuning and troubleshooting. Implement and manage database backup, recovery, and security measures. Monitor database performance and provide technical support. Stay updated with the latest PostgreSQL features and best practices. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a PostgreSQL Database Developer or similar role. Strong proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL. Experience with database design, optimization, and performance tuning. Familiarity with database security and backup/recovery processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other database systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle). Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#. Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database) Preferred candidate profile Perks and benefits
