You are a skilled SQL Developer with working knowledge of Database Administration, responsible for developing and optimizing SQL-based solutions while ensuring the stability, performance, and security of enterprise database systems. Your role involves writing complex queries and supporting essential database operations in both on-premises and cloud environments. Working closely with teams in Architecture, Development, Product, Infrastructure, and DevOps, you will support ongoing and prospective product features. The team is dedicated to building products that enhance the quality of life for patients, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and growth. Your key responsibilities include developing, optimizing, and maintaining complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions. You will design and maintain secure, scalable, and efficient data structures, analyze and validate database designs, support ETL processes and data integration, monitor and tune database performance, and assist in backup and recovery strategies. Additionally, you will participate in database deployments, upgrades, troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, enforce data access controls, and collaborate with various teams to ensure efficient data access and system stability. Contribution to the development of database standards, documentation, and best practices is also expected, working in Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server environments. Preferred qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 5-7 years of experience in SQL development with exposure to database operations. Proficiency in Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server database services is required, as well as a strong command of SQL, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.
