Database Cloud Architect

Role Overview: As a member of the Customer Success Services (CSS) organization at Oracle, your primary focus is to provide post-sales support and solutions to Oracle customers while advocating for their needs. You will be responsible for managing and supporting customer environments in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security. Your role involves resolving technical issues, system monitoring, collaborating with internal teams, and delivering exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and providing training. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and support customer environments in OCI cloud. - Design well-architected cloud deployment designs in OCI following best practices. - Implement automated configuration management and infrastructure provisioning. - Communicate with corporate customers through various channels to address technical problems in Oracle Cloud products. - Manage customer escalations, ensure timely high-quality resolutions, and focus on root cause analysis and prevention. - Develop strategies for proactive support, resulting in fewer incidents, increased availability, and accelerated deployments. - Advise on the use of Oracle products to prevent future issues and educate customers through the problem-solving process. - Follow Oracle diagnostic methodology and procedures, complying with support processes, policies, and SLAs. - Collaborate on cross-team technical issues and stay updated on product features and new releases. Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of relevant experience in Cloud IAAS & PASS, preferably in OCI, with effective communication skills. - 6+ years of overall experience in any domain, preferably in database, system, or network administration. - Experience in Cloud Database Services, including OCI VMDB, EXACC, EXACS, ADB, ADW, MYSQL, and NOSQL DB. - Proficiency in implementing, monitoring, and maintaining Cloud solutions (AWS, AZURE, OCI) such as Cloud Compute, IAM and IDCS, Cloud Networking, Cloud Storage, Cloud Security, etc. - Knowledge of SSL Certificate export/import, SSH Public/Private Keys, Observability and Management, IaaC tools like ansible, terraform, and the ability to map business requirements to solutions. - Ability to drive performance and complex architecture issues, knowledge of OIC management, multi-cloud exposure, and relevant certifications like OCI Architect Associate, OCI Architect/Operational Professional, AWS/Azure Cloud Architect.,
