Database Architect - MySQL/MongoDB

As a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in database management across various platforms such as MySQL, Postgres SQL, MS-SQL, H base, Casandra, and MongoDB, you will play a pivotal role in creating and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and stable data architectures for the Onto Innovation product suite. Your educational background should include a BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA qualification or equivalent, with a preference for post-graduation in technology. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in program management tools. Your key responsibilities will include possessing mandatory knowledge of CEPH, along with a background in software development, data architecture, or data management roles. You should have expert-level knowledge of at least two database technologies and a good understanding of both relational and non-relational database technologies. Your willingness to learn new database, automation, and Cloud technologies is crucial, as well as your proficiency in automation and experience with public Cloud platforms, preferably AWS. In this role, you will be expected to research new database methods and technologies, collaborate with customers, development squads, and product management to identify and document use case scenarios, lead data solution aspects, design highly available data architectures, and provide technical expertise to development teams. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing automated deployment procedures, recommending solutions for database systems, participating in code reviews, and creating documentation for engineering practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure technical and business viability, participate in system and application architecture, assist with performance tuning and database development, and implement strategies for high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and maintenance. Meeting SLAs for multiple database platforms and troubleshooting system issues will also be part of your responsibilities. Overall, your role will be critical in ensuring the efficiency, stability, and scalability of data architectures for the Onto Innovation product suite, while staying abreast of new technologies and best practices in the field of database management.,
