Database Administrator - ClickHouse (L2 / SME)

Job Description:

We are looking for passionate and experienced ClickHouse Engineers (L2 and SME levels) to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing high-performance ClickHouse environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain production-grade systems based on ClickHouse.
• Design schemas, plan and deploy clusters (ranging from single-node setups to large-scale clusters).
• Configure, install, backup, and manage multi-node ClickHouse clusters.
• Monitor and optimize performance for high availability and responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Develop backup, recovery, and security strategies for ClickHouse environments.
• Collaborate with development teams for optimal schema design and query tuning.
• Work on infrastructure projects and improvements to ClickHouse.
• Engage with the ClickHouse open-source community via GitHub, Stack Overflow, Telegram.
• Provide technical support, including troubleshooting and advising on ClickHouse usage.
• Handle support calls and assist in deployment and upgrades of ClickHouse.

Desirable Skills & Tools:

• ClickHouse managed services and cloud deployments.
• Experience in big data stack components: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, NiFi.
• Understanding of data science and analytics use cases.
• Familiarity with SRE/DevOps tools (Prometheus, Ansible, ELK, etc.).
• Proficient in version control systems like Git.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
