The Securities Master Central (SMC) is responsible for providing authoritative sources of securities indicative data to clients across the organization, through implementing state-of-the-art technologies and operational processes. The SMC BA team is tasked with enhancing the system, including integrating vendor feeds, data model enhancement, and updating existing data from vendors. This role involves analyzing multiple data sets manually or engineering automated solutions to understand business needs and conduct data analysis. As a Business Analyst or Data Analyst with 9-12 years of experience, you will be responsible for data analysis for complex systems and front-to-back flows. This includes reverse engineering functional specifications from data and working closely with end users/clients to understand business processes, industry standards, and regulatory mandates. You will collaborate with IT and Operations partners, external data vendors, and standards organizations.
