Data Testing Engineer- ReBoot

As a Data Testing Engineer at Fractal under the ReBoot program, you will play a crucial role in deploying and maintaining quality standards within the organization. Collaborating with various teams, you will be responsible for developing a comprehensive Quality Assurance framework and ensuring the delivery of high-quality data products throughout the lifecycle. Your contributions will involve creating test plans, scenarios, and cases, as well as developing automation scripts to enhance the testing process. Your responsibilities will include managing daily QA activities, providing training and mentorship, and working closely with stakeholders to enhance quality standards and testing procedures. You will be instrumental in defining and implementing QA processes for cloud, data, and application engineering efforts. Collaborating with different teams, you will develop test plans based on various use cases and implement a testing roadmap for the product. To succeed in this role, you must have 2 to 6 years of software testing experience, with a focus on ETL testing and data pipelines. Proficiency in Python and SQL scripting, along with expertise in automation testing and creating end-to-end use cases, is essential. Additionally, you should possess knowledge of QA methodologies, DevOps principles, and experience working in an Agile environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to enhance company procedures are key to excelling in this position. Furthermore, your role will involve owning end-to-end QA automation and manual quality assurance processes, defining KPIs for automation in the product development lifecycle, and managing platform releases. Troubleshooting quality issues and adapting test procedures as needed will also be part of your responsibilities. Previous experience in test automation engineering, PySpark code testing, API testing, and working with test automation frameworks is preferred. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering.
