Data Tester

As a Data Testing Engineer with over 8 years of experience, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing test cases to validate the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across different layers of the data warehouse. Your primary focus will be on testing ETL processes to ensure that data is correctly extracted, transformed, and loaded from source to target systems while adhering to business rules. You will also be required to perform source-to-target data validation to ensure data integrity and identify any discrepancies or data quality issues that may arise. Additionally, you will need to develop automated data validation scripts using SQL, Python, or testing frameworks to streamline and scale testing efforts effectively. In this role, you will conduct testing in cloud-based data platforms such as AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, and Snowflake to ensure performance and scalability. It is essential to have familiarity with ETL testing tools and frameworks like Informatica, Talend, and dbt. Experience with scripting languages to automate data testing processes will be beneficial for this position. Moreover, familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker will further enhance your ability to analyze and present data effectively. This role offers a hybrid work location in Hyderabad and Gurgaon, with an immediate to 15 days notice period requirement.
