Data Steward - Supply chain Specialist

Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing SCM data as a Data Steward & Data Governance analyst. Your role will involve working with various domains such as Master Data, Price & Promotion, Returns, Shipment, Claims, Order, Credit, Invoices, AR/AP across programs like NRM/RGM, Retail Sales, and Cost to Serve. Your key responsibilities will include knowing source systems, engaging with stakeholders, driving consensus, defining KPIs, data profiling, data quality checks, creating remediation plans, and using Informatica Cataloguing tool. Key Responsibilities: - Have knowledge of source systems such as SAP, TMS, WMS, Blue Yonder, and TPM systems including table structures, column names, and KPI definitions - Demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to drive initiatives by engaging multiple stakeholders to reach consensus - Engage with business stakeholders to define KPIs using industry standard definitions and address any gaps - Extract data using SQL/ADF, profile the data, and perform Data Quality (DQ) checks against 7 dimensions of data quality - Develop remediation plans for any identified DQ gaps and follow up with data owners to ensure resolution - Utilize the Informatica Cataloguing tool to document KPI definitions and data context - Understand and differentiate between various metrics such as DSD vs Distributor business to determine differing KPIs Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in SQL/ADF for data extraction and profiling - Strong understanding of data governance principles and data quality standards - Excellent communication skills to engage with multiple stakeholders and drive consensus - Ability to learn and adapt to new tools such as Informatica Cataloguing on the job - Knowledge of SCM domains and experience in working with source systems like SAP, TMS, WMS, Blue Yonder, and TPM systems About Tredence: Welcome to Tredence!
