Data Scientist/ML Engineer

As a Data Scientist/ ML Engineer based in Kolkata, you will be required to have a Bachelor's/Masters/research degree in applied Statistics, Computer Science with a major in Machine Learning, Computational linguistics, or a similar field. You should possess advanced proficiency in Python, Pandas, SQL, Seaborn/Neo4j, scikit-learn, Tensorflow, Keras, Deep Learning, NLP, Bayesian, etc. Your role will involve working closely with data engineers to develop scalable solutions for business needs. Designing and developing new-generation machine learning tools and technologies to provide a critical competitive advantage to the business will be a key responsibility. You will be expected to research and develop statistical learning models for data analysis, collaborate with product management and engineering departments to understand company requirements and propose solutions. Keeping up to date with the latest technology trends, communicating results and ideas to key decision-makers, and implementing new statistical or other mathematical methodologies as needed for specific models or analyses are essential tasks. Your background in data mining and statistical analysis will be valuable, along with your ability to understand various data structures and common methods in data transformation. Excellent pattern recognition and predictive modeling skills are required for this role. You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
