Job Title: Data Scientist
Experience: 5-10 Years Location: Bangalore

Roles & Responsibilities

Identify business opportunities where advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical modelling can improve decision-making, workflows, and automation.
Understand business challenges and assess the potential value of proposed data science solutions.
Identify relevant data sources, tools, and technologies required to address business problems.
Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, exploratory analysis, model development, and model testing.
Develop and implement machine learning, statistical, and advanced analytics models.
Establish and maintain model lifecycle management processes, including monitoring and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to develop analytics-driven solutions.
Present project outcomes, insights, and recommendations to business teams and identify further opportunities.
Provide technical mentoring on data science, modelling methodologies, analytics tools, and consulting practices.
Build collaborative relationships across business functions and geographical teams.

Requisites

Bachelor//'s or Master//'s degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
Strong expertise in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning, Statistical Modelling, Data Mining, or Operations Research.
Hands-on experience implementing end-to-end data science and advanced analytics projects.
Proficiency in Python and R.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and its associated data and analytics ecosystem.
Strong skills in data cleaning, preprocessing, model development, testing, and model lifecycle management.
Ability to engage with business and technical stakeholders to identify opportunities and translate business challenges into analytical solutions.
Knowledge of Upstream, Midstream, or Downstream business operations would be an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business consulting skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
