Position: Data Scientist

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Data Scientist with strong hands-on experience in Python, SQL, classical machine learning, and business analytics. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with relational data, performing statistical analysis, developing machine learning models, and translating business requirements into actionable analytical solutions.

The role primarily focuses on classical machine learning, data analysis, and business-oriented problem-solving rather than Generative AI or LLM-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and statistical analysis on structured and relational datasets.

• 
  Develop, implement, and evaluate classical machine learning models.

• 
  Use Python libraries to process, analyse, and interpret data.

• 
  Write SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse business data.

• 
  Apply statistical techniques, hypothesis testing, and analytical methods to solve business problems.

• 
  Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and actionable insights.

• 
  Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance standards.

• 
  Present findings through effective data storytelling and visualisation.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

• 
  2–3 years of relevant experience in Data Science.

• 
  Strong hands-on experience in Python, particularly Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.

• 
  Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.

• 
  Good understanding of applied statistics, hypothesis testing, and exploratory data analysis (EDA).

• 
  Knowledge of classical machine learning algorithms and their practical applications.

• 
  Ability to understand business problems and translate them into analytical solutions.

• 
  Basic understanding of data governance, data quality, and compliance.

• 
  Strong communication and data storytelling skills.

Good to Have:

• 
  Experience with Power BI or Tableau.

• 
  Basic exposure to Streamlit.

Candidate Preferences:

• 
  Immediate joiners or candidates who can join within 30 days.

• 
  Candidates with relevant classical ML and business analytics experience.

• 
  Candidates primarily focused on GenAI or LLMs will not be suitable.

Work Arrangement: On-site, Bangalore.
