Data Scientist-I/II

You will be part of the Data Science team at Delhivery, where technology and algorithms play a crucial role in tackling high-impact business problems. Your responsibilities will include: - Identifying and understanding business problems that can be addressed using data and analytics - Formulating and translating these problems into data-based solutions - Gathering and analyzing relevant data, and developing models - Rigorously testing and analyzing models in a business-centric manner - Communicating the results of models and analyses effectively to business stakeholders - Collaborating with operational and other teams to translate data insights into tangible business outcomes - Coordinating with product and technology teams to implement insights and model outputs into the company's core technology products To excel in this role, you must possess: - Strong mathematics and logic skills - Excellent written, oral, and visual communication skills - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python - Deep knowledge in operations research, statistics, machine learning, natural language processing, or simulations, and the ability to apply them to real-world problems - A passion for data and analytics - Common sense and an understanding of common logical fallacies - Proven track record of delivering end-to-end solutions to industry problems - 2 to 8 years of relevant industry experience - A Bachelors or Masters degree in a STEM subject from a reputed institution, either in India or abroad Joining Delhivery's Data Science team will require you to take end-to-end ownership of problem statements, work with ambiguity, and make independent decisions.
