Job Summary

Senior Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data science projects from data exploration to model deployment.
• Analyze large and complex datasets to derive actionable insights.
• Develop and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, business) to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts.
• Contribute to defining the overall data science and analytics strategy.
• Promote innovation and best practices in data usage, modeling, and experimentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum

  5+ years

  of hands-on experience in data science, with a strong track record of delivering successful data-driven projects.

Programming

• Proficient in

  Python

  or

  R

  .
• Experience with key libraries/frameworks:

  Pandas

  ,

  NumPy

  ,

  Scikit-learn

  ,

  TensorFlow

  ,

  Keras

  ,

  PyTorch

  .

Database & Data Handling

• Strong

  SQL

  skills for data querying and manipulation.
• Experience with

  NoSQL

  databases such as

  MongoDB

  is a plus.

Machine Learning & Statistics

• Solid expertise in ML techniques including:
• Regression, Classification, Clustering
• Decision Trees, Neural Networks
• Statistical Modelling and Evaluation Metrics

Big Data Technologies

• Experience working with

  big data tools

  like:

• Apache Spark

  ,

  Hadoop

  , or similar.

Cloud Platforms

• Practical experience with at least one cloud platform:

• AWS

  ,

  Azure

  , or

  Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  .
• Capable of deploying models and processing large-scale datasets in the cloud.

Version Control

• Proficient with

  Git/GitHub

  for version control and collaborative development.

Education

• BTech/MTech

  in

  Computer Science

  , or a related field.
• Relevant

  Data Science certifications

  are a strong advantage.
