Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist in our team, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured datasets. - Design and implement machine learning and statistical models including classification, regression, clustering, recommendation, forecasting, etc. - Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders. - Collaborate closely with data engineers and product teams to develop reliable data pipelines and deploy models. - Create intuitive dashboards, reports, and visualizations tailored for both business and technical stakeholders. - Stay updated with the latest data science tools, frameworks, and industry best practices. The qualifications and skills required for this role include: - Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in the field. - Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, matplotlib/seaborn). - Good knowledge of SQL for data extraction and transformation. - Experience with at least one machine learning framework (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn). - Hands-on experience with data wrangling, feature engineering, and model evaluation. Additionally, nice to have skills include: - Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Plotly/Dash. - Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Basic understanding of big data frameworks like Spark or Hadoop, as well as MLOps concepts. In terms of soft skills, we are looking for someone with: - Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities. - Capability to explain technical results in simple terms. - Good communication and stakeholder management skills. - Curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new technologies.
