Data Scientist - Associate Manager

As a Data Scientist Associate Manager at Accenture, your role will involve leading the design, development, and implementation of AI/ML-powered procurement and analytics solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will conceptualize and deploy platforms to identify cost-saving opportunities, enhance supplier management, and deliver business intelligence to enterprise clients. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyze procurement spend using various techniques to classify into a custom taxonomy in Accenture's spend analytics tool. - Participate in calls with stakeholders to gather data from different sources like email, Dropbox, Egnyte, and databases. - Lead assessment of data quality, identify gaps, and create summaries as per database requirements. - Assist in creating data cleansing rules and incorporating data clarifications provided by data source owners. **Qualifications Required:** - Hands-on experience with threading limitations and multi-process architecture in Python. - Ability to integrate multiple data sources using MySQL. - Strong coding knowledge in languages such as R, SQL, JavaScript, Java, CSS, C++. - Familiarity with statistical and data mining techniques like GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, social network analysis. - Experience with advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics such as regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc. In addition to the above, you should have 6-12 years of relevant experience in data modeling, ETL automation, AI/ML, and front-end design. It is essential to have extensive experience in handling and classifying spend data using AI/ML techniques, strong leadership and team management skills, proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, high attention to detail, accuracy, and innovative problem-solving skills. Preferred experience in supply chain management with a focus on applying AI/ML techniques to optimize operations would be an added advantage.
