Data Science Sr. Associate

Role Overview: You will be a part of a global collaborative team at Amgen, working towards serving patients and contributing to the research, manufacturing, and delivery of innovative biotechnology products. Your role will involve supporting analytics and modeling projects across therapeutic areas, assisting in data preparation and analysis, maintaining dashboards, and contributing to project delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Support the execution of analytics and modeling projects across therapeutic areas and assist in capability activities like next best action. - Assist in data preparation, exploratory analysis, metric tracking, and performance reporting with high accuracy. - Help maintain and operationalize dashboards or reusable code assets in Databricks or Python/SQL environments. - Contribute to project delivery by partnering with senior data scientists and leads on model building, testing, and result summaries. - Support documentation, version control, and deployment practices using standardized platforms and tools. - Continuously learn about methods such as marketing mix modeling, predictive modeling, A/B testing, and causal inference. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters in Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. - 3-5 years of experience in analytics, modeling, or data science delivery. - Working knowledge of Python and SQL; comfort working in Databricks or similar environments. - Experience with data visualization and performance metric tracking. - Strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality, reproducible work.
