Role Overview: You will be leading a data science team at Micron Technology, responsible for designing, developing, and programming methods to consolidate and analyze unstructured big data sources. Your role involves overseeing the development of software programs and algorithms to evaluate large data sets from multiple sources, identifying actionable insights, and ensuring the efficient operation of the function. Key Responsibilities: - Direct the activities of the data science team to generate actionable insights and solutions for businesses - Develop software programs, algorithms, and automated processes for data cleansing and evaluation - Communicate meaningful insights to stakeholders from large data and metadata sources - Select, develop, and evaluate personnel for efficient team operation - Utilize analytic-oriented languages such as Python or R, and big data technologies including Java, and C/C++ - Apply knowledge of advanced AI technologies and modern data science tools - Mentor and guide team members for technical development - Demonstrate project and program management skills - Utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical content delivery - Understanding of Micron's data and business is a plus Qualification Required: - Minimum of Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering - At least 10 years of experience in Data Science or related fields - Proficiency in analytic-oriented languages and big data technologies - Knowledge of advanced AI technologies, data science tools, and project management - Excellent verbal and written communication skills About Micron Technology, Inc.: Micron Technology is a world leader in memory and storage solutions, driving the transformation of information into intelligence.
