As a Data Science Intern at our company in Trivandrum, you will have the opportunity to work with real-world datasets and utilize advanced analytics techniques to gain valuable hands-on experience. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the analysis of large datasets using Python (Pandas, NumPy) and R to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. - Developing, testing, and implementing machine learning and deep learning models with frameworks like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or Keras for informing business decisions. - Collaborating with various teams such as Marketing, IT, and Operations to understand data requirements and deliver insights effectively. - Creating dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn) to communicate findings clearly. - Performing data cleaning, preprocessing, and validation for ensuring accuracy using SQL and scripting languages. - Staying updated on the latest tools, technologies, and trends in data science and deep learning. Preferred qualifications for this role include: - Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields. - Strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, deep learning, and data modeling. - Proficiency in Python or R programming. - Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, and Seaborn. - Familiarity with SQL and database management. - Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
