Data Quality Engineer

Working in collaboration with our multi-disciplinary engineering, design, and quality assurance teams, you will build software thatsolves real-world problems for incredible clients. 

WHAT YOULL DO:• Data Validation and Testing: Develop and implement testing procedures to validate theintegrity and accuracy of data pipelines, databases, and datasets• Data Audits: Regularly conduct audits on data to identify discrepancies, errors, andinconsistencies across systems• Data Quality Frameworks: Design, build, and maintain data quality frameworks thattrack data integrity, accuracy, completeness, and consistency• Root Cause Analysis: Identify the root cause of data quality issues and work with dataengineers and system architects to implement long-term solutions• Data Governance: Collaborate with data governance teams to ensure compliance withdata management policies, standards, and regulations• Automation: Create automated monitoring and alerting systems for real-time dataquality checks and issue detection• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data quality processes,procedures, and results to ensure transparency and traceability• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineering, data analytics, andproduct management, to ensure data requirements meet business needs

WHAT YOULL NEED:
• Proven experience in data quality, data analysis, or data engineering roles

• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases
• Familiarity with data quality tools and technologies such as Talend, Informatica, orApache NiFi• Experience with data validation and quality testing frameworks• Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing solutions• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or R• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and practices
