Data Quality Analyst

As a Data Quality Tester at ValueLabs, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data by validating data sources, applying transformation logic, and uploading data into target tables. Your responsibilities will include not only validating your own work but also ensuring the quality of the entire development team's output. To excel in this role, you should have a solid foundation in SQL, PYTHON, and JavaScript. You will be expected to identify test approaches, coverage gaps, and potential risks, as well as develop strategies for risk mitigation. Additionally, you will be involved in data conversion testing, data maintenance, and authoring SQL queries to extract and analyze data across various databases. Your expertise in database-related testing and ETL testing will be essential for this position. Familiarity with data quality tools such as Microsoft SQL Server Data Quality Services, Talend, or Informatica is highly preferred. You should also possess strong data quality skills, including data discovery, profiling, lineage analysis, root cause analysis, and issue remediation. Collaboration with stakeholders to address data quality issues will be a key aspect of your role. You will be involved in all stages of data quality management, from identifying issues to implementing end-to-end data quality projects. Your ability to review data models, data mappings, and architectural documentation will be critical in creating and executing effective system integration testing (SIT) plans and test cases.
