Position Overview

Uniqus is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Privacy Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in data privacy and protection across multiple geographies and legal frameworks. This role requires a proactive professional capable of performing comprehensive data privacy assessments, implementing robust data protection measures, and providing actionable recommendations to remediate compliance gaps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and operationalize privacy and data protection frameworks aligned with major global regulations, including DPDPA, GDPR, CCPA, UAE PDPL, KSA PDPL, Singapore PDPA, and other applicable regulations.
  • Conduct data flow mapping, develop and maintain Records of Processing Activities (RoPA), and perform Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA).
  • Review and enhance privacy notices, consent and preference management workflows, and data subject rights mechanisms.
  • Support third-party risk assessments, due diligence, and privacy contract reviews.
  • Develop and refine privacy policies, SOPs, and data protection procedures covering breach response, retention, classification, etc.
  • Conduct privacy gap assessments and assist in remediation tracking and reporting.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to embed privacy-by-design and data minimization principles.
  • Deliver training sessions to stakeholders on privacy regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.

Tool Experience (Preferred)

Hands-on familiarity with one or more privacy automation and data protection tools, such as:

  • OneTrust, TrustArc, BigID, Securiti.ai, Collibra, or equivalent platforms.
  • Experience using consent management, DSAR, data discovery and other data protection tools will be an added advantage

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2-4 years of experience in privacy and data protection roles
  • Strong understanding of global data protection laws and frameworks
  • Proficiency in DFD, RoPA, DPIA, consent management, and data lifecycle management
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
  • Preferred certifications: CIPP/E, CIPM, ISO 27701, or equivalent
